Cute Jumper

Nice little zebra spider (Salticus scenicus) in the garden today - I haven't seen many this year so was determined to get a photo or two. Got 3, two of which were blurred as she was running away! However - did manage one where she was more or less facing the right direction.

Haha, yea... She was on a pice of old broken brick, like a thin slice of one it is. One side is smootish, the other as you can see has a bit of growth on it - makes a nice natural finish. She kept moving and I had to keep turning the piece of brick over!

Lovely shot Paul. I honestly can rarely get a jumper to stay still when out doors.

It took all of 10 minutes just to fire the shutter 3 times. I really do think that with jumpers it can be very hit and miss.
