World Endurance Championship @ Circuit of the Americas

WEC is relatively new. It grew out of the LeMans series. The race stretches over a 6 hour period. I lasted about 4 1/2. In contrast to ALMS WEC allows prototypes. This Race was held on Sunday Sept 22 2013 at the new Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Lenses used, 70-400mm G series and 15-30 Sigma on a Sony 900.

    You've got a great feel for the event. However, your non-car shots are crisp and bright but the cars all look dark and muddy.

    Those cars are sweet.....as are the pics (but I do agree that "built for speed" could use a little more pop).

    Yes I agree. But after working with the picture some more I decided it's really too busy the fence and the tire tracks distract. I keep it for some rainy day project. Or maybe I just should use another shot that can take its place.
