Logo disappears

I have uploaded a custom logo for my website. It looks nice, but when I log out, it disappears. The logo is in png format and placed in a private album because I don't want it to appear among my ordinary pictures. Isn't this the way it should be done? What is wrong?

    Private means only you can see it, and only when you are logged on.

    If you change the gallery to unlisted the gallery won't show in a folder when you are logged out and the logo will be visible if it is accessed directly.

    Thank you so much! Changing the folder from private to unlisted fixed the problem. I wasn't aware of the difference.
