Went to Mexico on office related trip, shot where i could. I still wish i could travel more in Mexico. Packed my nifty fifty and 17-40L with 5dmk2. You can see more photos in gallery which includes office events.

First of all it is impossible for Pakistani to reach Mexico directly or by avoiding US or EU, nor we have Mexican embassy in Pakistan. It was quite hectic and i had to stop at Turkey:D for visa then flew to Brazil to catch flight to Mexico.

Hi Awais! Glad you got the chance to visit in Mexico and climb some Mayan ruins. I wouldn't have tried the grasshoppers either. Great shots as always.

Ah the food! Some of my favorite-living just North of Mexico in California, the Spanish influence is quite strong. Not just in the culture and food but architecture as well.

Great to see you were able to make it to MX and to try a bit of the culture.

Hi Awais, welcome to Mexico! Although I don't live there anymore, it's still where my roots are. Nice series, it seems you got to taste a good sampling of Mexican cuisine. Grasshoppers are, despite of what many might think, a delicacy. So I saw you were involved with CIMMYT, so I'm guessing you're in agriculture, me too, but on the animal health side. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
