Are filenames Google searchable?

Hello,

quick question: I would like to know if the actual file names (not title, caption or keyword) of a photo is searchable in Google?

    I think the answer to this question is yes. If you look at any of your images and then right click and 'copy image URL' you will see that the URL seems to contain the full filename. Similarly the images sitemap appears to have the full filename so as long as you are letting google index your site it should pick up the filename
