Collecting question

1. Is there a way to tell which images in a gallery are collected from other galleries? I have a few that were brought over from my legacy account and then I used the collection feature to pull in some other pics.
2. Is there a way to uncollect a photo? I'd need to know which ones were collected 1st, but I read that I cannot simply delete it as it removes it from the original gallery too.

Collected images are indicated in SM-style and Journal-style galleries by the "From ...." text as per the following screenshot. Currently, there's no such indication in the other gallery styles, so to find the collected images in those you'd need to temporarily change the gallery style. Annoying, isn't it?

I believe you just use the remove offered in the edit menu for a collected photo.

If a photo is collected you should not see a delete option. I just checked two of my galleries - the tools menu for a photo loaded to a gallery gives me a Delete option, and the tools menu for a photo collected into a gallery gives me a Remove option.

I'd recommend setting up a test gallery to verify this on your site.

Thanks. I'm trying to update my portfolio galleries (after having neglected them for a while) and like the collect option instead of reloading them and having keyword all of the new files.
