You can't sort by position AND in descending order, you can sort by position OR descending order :D

Either should be possible in the "Organizer".

Try the Help Portal, accessible via the "?" that should be up at the top-right of your screen in New SmugMug.

There's help for all sorts of things in there thumb.gif

Sort by position is a only relevant for manual sort. Ascending and descending are only
relevant if you select a type of sort. BTW, if you sort in Organizer make sure that
"Organizer Position" is set for sort in the box on the folder pages. The sort on
the boxes will override the Organizer sort. Galleries probably work the same.

Manual Sort (also known as None) and Descending (also known as 9-1) so you can use manual sort in the gallery but have newly uploaded pictures go to the top of the gallery instead of the bottom was taken away in new smugmug.
It really makes my work flow tedious always having to drag newly uploaded pictures from the bottom of the gallery up to the top.
    It is discussed here...

That's what I meant. In old smug my sorting is none (or position). However, for newly uploaded images, they go by ascending or descending (we have a choice) in position. Not sure if my understand is correct...
