HTML a href Attribute

Am I wrong as I have just found out I can't use the HTML a href attribute in my galleries descriptions anymore? This works in old smug.

    I'm really mad at this. Whenever I have a href in my descriptions all the paragraph spacings are messed up under the new smug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Smug should tell us earlier removing all the a href prior to the transfer
