I suspect it will only be a problem if used for commercial purposes. Same is true of images of people in the street, at least in the uk and excluding children images.
Alan.
Ps. I am impressed by the painting. It's something I certainly could not do.
Thank you. But I think almost anyone could paint if they wanted to. It might not look like their vision, but there are cheats. In that painting I had help with the foliage.
I'm not a good draftsman - that is I can't easily or accurately transfer 3 dimensions to 2 dimensions, but I love to work with color. I think painting has influenced my photography as I am unwilling to make a photo try to be a painting. So I eschew a lot of the special effects that some people use. Even making a photo monochrome when I know it was originally color irritates me.
PS - I think you are right about the Eiffel Tower.

This one could really represent almost anywhere in the state. LOTS of bluebonnet and wildflower postcards sold around these parts......

Probably the opposite in my case (for some pics) as I'm looking for backgrounds / foregrounds that will render in a 'painterly / colour wash' manner on the pic, without there being any need to use any PP / special effects
Not plain, but good, non-distracting textures, with colours that're in keeping /harmony with the subject.

Just another case of 'each to their own', eh?
