Lightroom Secondary Display Issue

I have seen many similar issues posted in other forums, but I can't seem to figure this one out. This issue recently started happening only in Lightroom 4 and continues to be an issue for me with Lightroom 5. It does not happen in Photoshop CS5.

I have a Dell laptop and a Samsung monitor that I use as a secondary display. Images in Lightoom display properly on the laptop display, but not on the Samsung external monitor. Both displays have been calibrated with ColorMunki Display. As you can see in the screen shots, other images, such as the desktop wallpaper render fine on both monitors. Images in Photoshop CS5 and other image viewing software also render fine on both monitors. This issue has not always been an issue, it started appearing about 6 weeks ago. Any thoughts on what might be going on?

Here is a Dropbox link to screen captures showing the issue:

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
