Michele and I shot inside and around a hotel this morning. We had a general idea of what we wanted to shoot but then winged it once we started shooting.

1 through 4 and #6 are absolutely killer. Great use of light, and the processing is spot on with most of this set. #1 is my favorite. I feel really engaged with her eyes.

I've lurked a couple of your recent sessions and you're doing great. Keep it up! clap.gif

for the indoor photos, was it just ambient light? I had an assignment over the weekend that was similar and I struggled with it pretty bad. Low light, slow shutter speeds, missed my focus or just got movement. Maybe it was just too low of light?

Anyway, I love the series. #1 and #9 were my favorites.

    Absolutely in love with #s 2 & 3.

#4 is seriously nice but appears a bit soft on my monitor (or old eyes Laughing.gif).

Actually, like them all except #s 6 (where I think she gets lost) & 7 (where the flare doesn't work for me), and the technical are really spot on throughout.

1,4,6, were ambient light, the rest were lit with an alienbee 400. Inside shots used a shootthrough umbrella, outside without modification.

When shooting indoors and ambient light, you have to use ISO too. I was in auto ISO for the ambient set at highest acceptible ISO I have for my camera. These are some more ambient light shots. Some of these I really goofed. I was shooting at f18 instead of f1.8 but auto ISO kind of salvaged the shots.

Thanks! For 4 I was at f2 so pretty much everything other than her eye would be oof.

On the second set, I really like the first one a huge lot.

Might have turned her top hand a bit for less brightness but, honestly, that's one of those nit-picky things we all do to each other here. rolleyes1.gif

I didn't notice that until you pointed it out but I think the problem is a photographer asked her to get a spray tan for a previous shoot. Personally, if a model is pale to begin with I like the pale look. I have found these spray tans cause uneven tones and it bugs me trying to match sections of skin.
