AMAZON CLOSED MY ACCOUNT with thousands of images!

i have sent multiple emails to smugmug support for this -- and there doesnt seem to be any chat box anymore -- nor any support 'heroes' around any more... this is insane, please help.

I have to update my amazon payment cc card, and today they cancelled my account with no warning, no email, nothing. I have been with smugmug for YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thousands of images missing.... not even my free amount of storage is there... my account is just GONE.

I questioned Amazon - who told me 'we closed your smugmug account' THIS IS INSANE! how can they do that -I am trying to run a business here and I cant access thousands of images!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-

please fix this asap -- i cannot believe you just dumped my account after 4 years of use w/ no email or notice or anything.

Jacqui, first of all - take a deeeep breath. SmugMug Heroes can and will help you. I suggest emailing help at smugmug dot com again, they will fix the issue for you. There are warnings prior to account closure, have you checked your spam folders? In the end, it is the customer responsibility to ensure that the account is paid for on an annual basis.

Try the heroes again, it'll get sorted I'm sure.

Hi Jacqui,

Shay reopened your account this morning in response to your support tickets. Unfortunately the Amazon Payments scheme only sends one notice of the payment failure and if it isn't fixed within a week Amazon then cancels the subscription. We're much more relaxed when you subscribe directly by card and we have full control (allowing weeks and lots of nagging messages before we close accounts).
