Stop the SPAM already

I expect meaningful emails regarding my service from SmugMug, not junk mail about portrait season.

If you want to offer these emails as a "bonus" to paying customers then let them opt-in, I am only interested in information directly related to my SmugMug account.

Once upon a time SPAM was something SM detested. Apparently that has changed with new Smug as well.

    Oh for crimony's sake... stop the histrionics. mbellot, the email was about how to add blog functionality to your site. And about 5 lies your camera will tell you. Oh and yeah, how to get killer locations for portrait shoots. OH and guess what, mbellot? You can unsubscribe instantly without having to complain! See here:

    Relax Andy, some things hit people differently than others, and this board (unfortunately) gets used to vent sometimes.

    However, you use it for that too!

    It's just part of having a vast group helping each other.

    How do I find that information again? I looked in the Smugmug blog but don't see it. (I apparently deleted the email and I need to refer to it again as my new blog is not working.)

    I can understand the OP's pain though. I am still recovering and cleaning out from giving my real email to wppi back in 2010.
