For the 2nd year, I was teaching an underwater photo seminar in Malapascua, Philippines. during, before and after that I had some good luck catching some of the amazing marine life with my camera. It's the colorful small stuff that always gets me excited most:

This is a sea slug, mimicking a soft coral. It's about hand-sized, but surprisingly hard to spot.

This is a juvenile fingered dragonet. This fish is about 3 cm long, and prefers to crawl rather than to swim.

This is a crinoid shrimp. All the arms around it are a crinoid - a relative of the sea stars. The shrimp spends all his life in this larger invertebrate.

What a terrific series! Thanks for posting, because there is no chance in the world that I would otherwise get to see these amazing creatures! Best, Pam
