- I have to say I would not like the glossy screen that is shown in the video in this article
Dell also offers that resolution in a couple of other recent Inspiron or Latitude models I believe.
Keep your eye on this notebook review site as their internal reviews usually test the gamut coverage and they publish a chart that clearly illustrates any deficiency.

If you read the review of the Samsung ATIV Book 9 with a similar 3200x1800 resolution using Samsungs' own S-PLS type LCD panel, there are some interesting points there. It only covers up to 75% of sRGB in their tests and if you read the follow on comment about colors being different between battery mode and AC mode, you should wait until a full Dell review is released. The Dell XPS15's in the past were available with a wide gamut backlight that also covered the AdobeRGB space but used a TN panel which was not the best for image work. But Dell may be sourcing their 3200x1800 panel from LG, which means a AH-IPS type LCD panel and likely with a different backlight than what Samsung uses. EDIT: Dell is going to use an IGZO panel.... not sure what that is going to provide in terms of color accuracy or gamut coverage.

Most listing show it coming with 4G RAM but it is fairly easy to upgrade it yourself to, I think, 10G or 12G RAM.

14" 1920x1080 IPS screen, slightly larger than sRGB gamut coverage.
Many comments in forums as to this being one of the best built Acer's ever seen but it runs hot at times and the touch pad is said to be poor. Not a big deal to me because I prefer a mouse.

I did buy mine refurbished to save a tad bit of money but the warranty was great.
If I was going to do it again ... I would have gotten a 15 or 14 if it had enuff processing power....
I'm looking at an Asus Zenbook at the moment, possibly. But only if I can get it with Win 7, not 8.
