Very Shiny Black Harlequin and a Plant Bug

This particularly shiny (and tough to avoid highlights might I add) Black Harlequin Ladybird(Bug) landed on my arm around 11pm a few evenings ago outside at a friends house. I put it in a jar so I could take it home and photograph it.
Here are a few shots of it circumnavigating the top of the jar before flying off somewhere in the house to where, I have absolutely no idea . I'm expecting my son to find it, he manages that quite well hehe.
It did NOT stay still for even a moment.
I spotted this plant bug on one of our flowers yesterday.

JD, it's the first time I've happened to see a black LB and as it seems, when I get the chance to photograph something new, it seems to come to me. I only found this one after feeling something on my arm and there it was hehe
