Flash/Lighting question

I'm shooting a sweet sixteen indoors at night...there should be some lighting but I'm not counting on much. I have a Nikon SB910 ... will that be enough? When I purchased the flash I was assured I'd have no problem with lighting. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you're new to portraits, then your unit will be enough for now. Light modifiers to soften the light, reflectors & using the flash off camera will all help to increase the usefulness of the flash.
