iphone sharing

So far, I really like the new Smugmug system. A great revamp and looks very professional.

The same applies when looking at the website through the iphone (via safari). The issue I have is, when I look at a photo in the gallery, I want to share it with others. With the old legacy version, I could easily click on "get a link", copy and paste away, no problem. Now, with the new version, all my galleries are in the "collage landscape" mode. When I select a photo, I do not get any of the icons in the bottom right, so i cannot get the link to share the photo.

If I change my gallery to a different customisation, say for example design default (I am using Max as the template), or journal etc., i do see the icons, and i can share the images via the link.

Is this an issue with smugmug, or perhaps an issue with the compatability with ios7 on the iphone?

Does anyone else have a similar issue with the iphone or another mobile template?

Cheers!

If you're using a collage style the sharing icons are still available. You need to click to lightbox on the photo you want to share to see them. I have the sharing links disabled on my site for my viewers but they are still available to me when I'm logged in.

Or did I misunderstand you and this is only a problem on the iphone?

I can see the share options on my phone but I'm running a windows phone so that's probably not a good comparison.

I think it is with the iphone then, and only with the collage landscape mode.

Like I said, I click/tap finger on a photo, it opens up, but no icons on the bottom.

If I tap on the bottom to see if the icons are down, ios7 brings up it's own icons:

actually i have the same issues with different gallery settings.

*edit* - I need to charge up my phone ;)
