Helvegr, the reeds on the left imo help to frame the composition a bit, but I do see your point as well.
Dcmack, your instincts are correct. This is an HDR composite of 11 images. Which of course means that the 0.8 second exposure posted above the image is technically incorrect. I got the exif data from just one of the images and posted it out of habit - I need to edit that out. Shutter speed is a bit irrelevant with these type of composites.
