Ideas for street/ night shooting in Barcelona

Hey all -
I've been to Barcelona once before and had plenty of time to see the scenes of La Rambla, the markets and some of the churches. I am going this week for a meeting and will have from mid-day Friday through the night to wander and shoot.
I'm thinking that I might try and do something more creative this time. I'm looking for ideas... I want to shoot photos of people.
Maybe Couples? Hugging? Kissing? I am OK asking...
Maybe I bring something and ask them to interact with it (e.g. stuffed animal)
Maybe I ask them to make a face of some sort?
I want to do something that requires more than just candid shot with my zoom lens... It'd be great to have a little fun on this walk... 8-)
Anyone have any good ideas or experiences that I should consider? There are lots of people out and about, so it feels like if I have an idea, I can run with it...
