Adjusting Logo width

I have used the "logo" content block for my site. It said I can adjust the width of the logo. However, when I tired to adjust the width, not only the width is adjusted, the height is also adjusted! Is it possible I can adjust the width only, not the height?

Each photo has a specific aspect ratio and therefore, if you set up a specific width, the height is automatically adjusted as well. You cannot stretch or override the aspect ratio of a photo. If you wanted to do that, you'd need to resize the photo accordingly on your computer and then upload it again to SmugMug with the adjusted size / format.

One thing you can do is if the logo is art (as opposed to a real image), if it has a background, have the background of the page behind it be the same, and break the logo up into left/right/center portions. Then as the screen resizes, these appear to stretch and shrink the logo horizontally. It's not probably what you hoped, but it might work (try my link below).

You didn't given an example site so I couldn't see if this might be applicable, so apologies if it is not.

PS. I also have the right/left side disappear below a certain size, so they don't collapse into a stack.

Actually I want to fix my logo to the center but it seems I can't do that under this new smugmug.

I don't know what that means. My logo is centered. Can you provide either some more description or screen shot or a pointer (if you've unveiled)?

You get choices of left, right, center.
