After a trying day of battling all of her illness and challenges , my elderly mother and my dog just sit and enjoy the view. I titled it the odd couple because my mother NEVER liked dogs , but she likes him for some reason.104_zpse00d2ebf.jpg

    Thank you all for the comments . I have taken a break from Photography for a few years. I'm sure I need a lot of work but I guess I haven't lost all my skills.

    The skill is in knowing when there's a moment to capture and then how to capture it. You certainly didn't fall short. This is a very powerful image and I'll bet you never thought twice about using black and white. Good call. Great capture and thanks for sharing the moment.
