Some sunrises from this morning.

canon 60D, nikon 1.8 50mm lens, iso and shutter all over the place, about f4 i believe. I'm getting some pretty bad banding to my eye on these pics. shot in raw, only corrections are white balance, and on a couple some noise reduction when i got up around iso 800, 4-5 ticks of vibrancy on a couple.

Any idea what's going on? does my monitor just suck?:scratch:scratch:scratch

My monitor isn't the best, but I also don't see any issues. Maybe it's my eyes?

It's entirely possible I'm imagining things. I was looking at those on my work monitor, which if it was a car would be akin to something driven in russia in 1974.

I'm not seeing banding, but they all look too dark.

Agree with David. Great sky, but these are underexposed.

I tend to do that with that lens. When it meters spot on it overexposes wildly, sometimes I have to step it down a full stop, sometimes even 2. Crazy thing. Sharpest lens I have till my new one gets here though I'll toss a little exposure correction at them and see what you all think.
