Lightroom Sync fails

Hello,
I have recently upgraded to Lightroom 5.2
With both the 2.0.5.2 and 2.0.6 versions of the plugin, sync of older photos does not work.
Out of 50+ galleries, 8 sync, all the rest show 0 photos in LR (the galleries are intact on Smugmug).
If I add an new picture to an existing gallery (one that does not sync), it will sync correctly. So for example, in a 20 pics gallery, I sync and get 0 pics in LR. When I add one pic, the gallery has 1 picture after sync.
This is really aweful!
The log file is too big to be attached...
Can you help ?

I had 100 conflict resolutions (jpg vs raw with edits), but that's better than not having the images
Thanks for the very quick turnaraound!

I believe that your catalog is missing the images that are not syncing.
For example, the "Cassis 2008" gallery, these photos appear to be taken in Oct/Nov 2008 with a Nikon D700..but from the screenshot below, you can see that your catalog doesn't contain photos from that timeframe.
The other galleries I checked were in a similar situation.

I synched long ago, and didn't find some photos but got most, and figured the rest were hopeless (and frankly didn't try to figure out which were not there, just that the counts were off).
Was the nature of the error something that might be common? Should others get a new version (wait for release?) and try again?
Last year sometime we started storing metadata slightly differently than we had previously...and the new API returns the two different types of metadata slightly differently. As a result, I need to sometime do a little massaging of the data to get it into the form that I will be able to search the catalog using.
As always, I'm more than happy to look at anyone's catalog who wants to send it in (link above).
