API creating folders?

I'm new to the SM API and I'm looking to start a project. I need to be able to create a gallery. But one thing I seem to be missing is how to I create a folder and put a gallery in a folder in accordance with the new SM design?

Can I access all the levels of folders?

Where is the documentation on this?

    You must be new here.....

    The API hasn't been updated since the 'new' Smugmug rolled out nearly 3 months ago.

    Last update was 'We are working on API 2.0 but it's not ready for general consumption yet'. That was almost 2 months ago (August 2nd).

    Not new to SM.. but yes, new to the SM API world.

    Thank you for confirming my suspicions. I started going through some old threads and thought I saw it hadn't been released yet. But the posts were old. So I guess I was hoping for some more news.
