Keyword Problem

I used the global keyword edit in the organizer to add a keyword to every picture in a gallery.
The keyword shows if I go back to the keyword editor in organizer but two days later the keyword is not on the keyword page and does not show on the individual picture keyword editor.

Is keywords really this broken?

Yes, the keyword I'm using is "large" and I added it to most of the galleries in my "Print Sales" folder.
For example...

http://www.dennismullen.com/Galleries/Print-Sales/Bonaire

Just guessing here, but large might not be an allowed keyword. Smugmug has a silly feature that turns filenames into keywords. Really common words that appear in many filenames are not allowed as keywords, such as web. If they'd remove that so called feature, keyword lists would be much more accurate and cleaner and they wouldn't need to block so many keywords from being used.

Edit... confirmed large is a blocked keyword.
