Hi there,

I just looked at my site (not logged in) and the homepage slide show now has a big grey box with "This album requires a password"

I have not changed any settings on my site for ages, so was wondering if someone can help me fix the problem.

Thanks

Chris

    Hi Allen,

Thank you for the reply. I must admit to not understanding anything about computers. Every time I touch something on my settings, it wrecks something else.
I spent a long time, ages ago, getting the site how I wanted it and then never touch it for fear of breaking it again.

I have looked for the code you showed, but I can not find it. Where should I start looking? CSS, Custom header, Custom Footer, Java Top Script? I have trawled through all of those and can't see anything that looks like what you wrote.

Sorry to be a pain, but I really don't get computer script.

    Thanks

Check the gallery No. and key again.
Looks like you used the example key from the wiki page.
    AlbumKey: 'f3ta9',
Get the actual gallery key for your gallery.

    var ssConfig = {
    AlbumID:'4449121',
        AlbumKey: 'f3ta9',
    newWindow: 'false',
        transparent: 'true',

    Hi Allen,

All I did was to put in AlbumKey: 'f3ta9', I didn't change anything else. How do I get the key for the album?

    Thanks

The album key for your gallery is not f3ta9 - that is just an example. You would need to look at the source gallery to get the album key.

    Album key is bKJh9Z.

I put that in for you and your slideshow is working now :).
