backups won't download

I tried to download some galleries using the feature that is built into smugmug. I tried chrome and IE. My computer will download a percentage of the zip file, then stop. Anybody have any ideas on this one?

    Is this a larger gallery and there are multiple links to download your photos? Check your inbox to see if there are more links that have been sent to you.

    Some are, yes, but what I'm saying is that the download won't complete. It will only download say 40% and then stop. Not that I get 40% of the files, but that the file never downloads for me to use it.

    Have you diagnosed your internet connection? If you have a bad ping time, or unstable internet, the file may not download.

    What do I need to do to diagnose? Streaming video etc all work fine.

    You should work with the connection heroes. They will help. http://help.smugmug.com

    I'm sure it's not anything on SM's end.
