when i first found this place, i spend my lunch hour photographing it. it was in mid april. typical minnesota, the next day it snowed.....lots. i went back to the place, in summer shoes, no less, and caught it in the snow. the last picture combining the two was one of my first attempts in doing something creative with photoshop.

thanks, all. i try to send a copy of my photos to the owners who i have spoken to before photographing their barns. at this place i also got a picture of the old homeplace. when the owner saw them, she ordered several copies of different shots for her family. it was actually a paying job, though that was not my intention. :):

The 3rd image is a cool shot thumb.gif how were you able to replicate the viewheadscratch.gif
I get the impression that you took more than one shot the first day & I assume that you used different angles, views, focal points, etc. How were you able to recreate the your the same views, etc. the next day

i took a lot of shots in basically the same place both days, and then did a lot of adjusting in photoshop, layering and tweaking the line where they needed adjustment.

Sweet, I love the blend, I have seen that in real life though the snow was not that deep, a field with a snow line through the middle, not as sharp a line as you have there, but the line was no wider than 10 feet. One of those times that you wish you had your camera.
