    Definitely is hard to do BW conversions, i have trouble with them sometimes, i put a black and white conversion walk away for about 5 minutes, come back look at it, if it looks wrong i adjust the contrast and brighntness walk away again, and repeat the steps, thanks for the comment as well.

    some of this might sound harsh, but i'm just trying to help:

    i don't exactly see the purpose or the meaning to the picture other than playing with depth of field. maybe i just don't get it.

    it does look kinda cool, but i would've moved a little away from the wall and aimed towards the wall to show more of the length of the wall and possibly have more in focus. the other option i would've gone with would be to focus on the path close to you so that the path starts in focus then goes out of focus. i think the point is that i would want a little bit more in focus.

    it's a pretty good b&w conversion. if you haven't already, you need to check out optikvervelabs virtual photographer for photoshop, it's free and incredibly powerful.
