Rented a defunct portrait studio in a department store and did a two day promotion. Shot 71 sittings in two days.

Here's one I especially like. What I really like is the fact that I got this image in two takes. When you're doing over thirty sittings a day, you don't have time to screw around.

Wow! A little harsh with the lighting, but otherwise excellent work. The dynamic between them all - how do you beat that? clap.gif

Agreed on the harsh light......with black skin I tend to drop the saturation a bit and it helps the skin tones.

This is a great idea and congrats for doing that many sessions.

    Thanks for the comments guys.

With this two day mass subject shoot, I did what I call Ron Popiel lighting. "Set it, and forget it." If I stray from the subject spot a bit, this is what you get.

I love it. Critics tend to forget or ignore when there is a business side to the photographs, which can sometimes come through in the image. I'm sure this family or these friends will treasure this photo.

An "accurate" reproduction of a scene and a good photograph are often two different things.

I think the light looks good. Any less and the result might not be as nice. And Jack is right, the family will treasure it.

I like it. When you go through a marathon you don't have time to setup lights for each individual shot, not that it looks bad to begin with.
