Shot last weekend and now finally posted (still feeling a bit blah). Also experimenting with different pp techniques and color profiles. let me know what ya think!!
Tern diving
How the reddish egret hunts...
using its wings to decrease the glare of the midday sun
This seems a bit overdone to me now that I see it on smugmug...
not sure I'm happy with the post on this one either...consider it a draft, but I love the one wing deal!
I have a few more of the hunting sequence and of a rare raptor (rare to me!). I'll toss 'em up when I get a chance.

The nikon guys picked the one where I over saturated the water
So that's the secret to nikon blue!
Thanks for the comments guys I'll post the reworks when I get a chance. I believe the raptor is a northern harrier male. Wouldnt let me get too close though
I havent gotten to posting too many comments lately, but let me just saw both of you guys' latest stuff is wonderful and then some. I need to get back out there with you two!!

The first one is the most artistic- leaves much to the imagination.
The second one - Tells a nice story about using the wings as a shadow, but I'd like to see the face of the bird.
The third one- does appear a little over sharp. Some halos around the bird. The water may be a little too blue. Those are nitpicks though, I like this shot.
The last one - I like the composition, but I don't like the shadows on the bird. Perhaps some fill flash would have helped or shadows/highlight.
