Increase smart gallery maximum # of photos to return

What good is increasing the maximum keyword search amount to 5000 if the smart gallery you use it in only has a maximum return amount of 1000?
It should be at least 5000 too.

I also would like to see a max count of photos > 1000.

I created a smart gallery with all my photos from 2013 to play inside of a slideshow. Would be nice if the slideshow could really play all photos, not the last 1000 only.

Hopefully this feature will be added to SM sooner or later.

I too would like to see the max number increased well beyond 1000.

The limitation might have something to do with the fact that it seems to take a very long time to gather the photos with even a single rule having one keyword. Having said that it is strange but I have found that a preview seems to show very quickly, while saving the rule and getting results can take hours.
