Hi Guys,

Think ive managed the size thing but it tells me i have uploaded the max files? is this because the one file is max size? When i look at other posts they can have multiple files,is there something i'm doing wrong? Like i said before i'm pretty new to macro and still trying to get my flash right but have found all your posts very helpful,thanks for that. The image i have attached to this post 1st c&c please 2nd can anyone tell me what type of fly this is?

Good shot- looks like a greenbottle fly. With attached files there is a limit to how many you can have in a post not sure if it's one or 2 attachments.Where you see more than this in a post, the photos have been linked from another site (eg flickr or smugmug).

Looks like it needs fill flash to brighten the shadows and sharpen the detail ... a 'My Setup' thread might be useful here as it has been elsewhere? - to help relative noobs get some perspective on what works?

It was shot using canon 7d,canon 100mm is l macro lens,diffused flash at 1-1mag and lots of patience and swearing! lol,glad you like it
