New Lightroom plugin loses smart galleries

Hi,

Just updated the Smugmug plugin in Lighroom 5.2 from 1.0.6.8 to 2.0.6. I had to do this manually by copying the SmugMug.lrplugin into the Modules folder (on a Mac with Os X 10.8.5), because the in-app update gave an error. I ran Sync Hierarchy. This resulted in all my Smart Galleries under the SmugMug publish service got converted to plain Galleries. Not good... Did I do something wrong? Is there a way of getting my old Smart Galleries back in Lightroom? Or is this conversion to plain Galleries what everyone gets when updating to the 2.0.x plugin?

Do you happen to have a backup of the catalog before you ran the update ? I could take a look and see if i can work out what the issue is.

I take monthly backups, but the latest one is a few weeks old. Unfortunately, I just finished editing a large number of images before doing the update. I don´t want to do all that work over again, so I´ll just stick with the plain galleries.
