From our kitchen table, this leaf was stuck to our bay window. It has been a gorgeous fall in Mid Michigan.

Love the idea!! I think the composition is a little weak though. The white area in the first overpowers the leaf and in the second the leak is too small. If the leaf was 1) larger 2) coming in at a different angle- stem angled upward instead of down it would make the shot significantly stronger. The trees are also a distraction as they are near black and lead off the frame.

The light on the leaf and the detail is very nice though as is the green grass outside.

Excellent comments. I will use them going forward. BTW, I did not stick the leaf the window, I found it that way.

I went back and looked at the images in more detail and agree with your points.
