Coyote at Antelope Island

I went to Antelope Island earlier this evening, hoping to see some form of wildlife. As I drove along Ranch Road looking for Porcupine I stopped at a tree, surveying the surrounding areas and saw the coyote rustling around looking for food. Here's some of what I was able to get before it got tired of being bothered

(at one time there was myself and 3 other vehicles; but the vehicle in front of me was slapping their vehicle and calling it a "dog" - "look over here" "look up" and some other choice words) (At least I had the best view :ivar )

I rarely get to view a coyote so close to the road, so I consider myself lucky and the fact that it didn't mind my car. I used a Canon 7D and Tamron 200-500mm Lens with a Bean Bag over the window for stabilization.

Anyway, It was always interesting watching coyotes and their behavior. Let me know what you think!

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I like #1, for the great focus on the eyes, and #5, and #6 best, and good for you for capturing a Coyote. We have them, but I have only glimpsed one briefly years ago. Best, Pam

I like the secomd and third ones best. Third might be even better with a tighter crop to get rid of extra space at top of frame and to move coyotes' head from middle of the frame.
