The camera was on the ground for this resting on a small pebble at the waters edge. A crop from the bottom removed the waters edge and floating falling leaves.

I also wonder about cropping a bit more off the bottom - just above the dark water shadows in lower right and possibly a tad off the LHS to get rid of the small wave shadow about an inch up from the bottom.
(Area of the larger, density of the smaller)
If a local venue, a good place to keep checking for mating / fighting / territorial disputes etc at appropriate times of yr etc - especially if there's a bit with no buildings in the bg?
