#5 is brilliant as well!
What are the little white dots in #2 and #3? Did a cloud turn into crumbles?

Thanks for the kind words as always, Tom. It was an unusually productive trip.
Thanks very much, Charles. I've tried Viviza, but am not particularly savvy with it yet. I currently do most of my color adjustments in LR/HSL.
All of these were in the Page, AZ area. First was in the desert near Lake Powell, and the second is on Lake Powell itself. The rest were from the Paria Plateau area of the Vermillion Cliffs Wilderness area. You've probably seen my tripmates photos in this forum by now. We've got a thread under "Journeys" too if you haven't seen it yet.
Thanks, Don!
Thanks, man. Yeah that sky really popped when I started processing. If you got the same comp in #3, I haven't seen it yet.

I very much love them all but #1 really draws me in.
The light in the first is exquisite.
The shots are all excellent.
If I may humbly offer a comment based on feedback Marc's been giving me, I would say that you could add to the depth of most of them by making the foreground a touch darker, and maybe lowering the clarity (if you're in LR), so that the eye is led to your subject. I think this would be especially helpful in 3 and 5. The lighting is flat across the image. This may sound odd for an image like 5, which pops right off the page. You wouldn't call it flat, but it has a uniformity across the image. In 3 I think the subject would be the pool of water and the formations behind. The lines in the rock are essential to the comp, but they are not the subject, and could be brought back in brightness, contrast and clarity so that the subject can stand out more and the image overall could have more depth.
I'd be interested to hear what you think, but the short story is: great work!

Thanks so much.
Thanks, Dan. As always, I appreciate your keen eye.
Good to see you again, Lauren! Thanks for your input. You and Dan have similar tastes evidently on number 4.
Thanks very much, Phil. 1 and 5 are my particular favorites. Thanks, Schnauzer!
Thanks, David. You know, I've been noticing some really good landscape photographers whose pictures appear to have been done up the way you describe. It's worth playing around with, so thanks for the ideas.
Thanks, man. You know we pushed that thing over after we were done so nobody else could steal our shots.
Kidding!!!
