Descriptions not working. (Never have in new Smugmug)

Hi,
I thought I'd post it here seen as it has yet to be resolved. Smugmug still havent implmented the meta descriptions into the HTML. The field is there in the page settings however it simply doesn't update the HTML markup. It's always the Homepage Meta Data. I informed Smugmug almost two months ago and they said they'd 'look into it'. It's a large part of Search Engine Optimisation.
Has anyone else experienced this? As far as I'm aware it's on all Smugmug sites, but I never got any further word from them.
