Great Egret

I caught this guy at the Botany Bay Plantation Preserve in SC. The marsh he was in was right along the road - this damn bird stood there in the water for more than 15 minutes (that I saw) without moving anything more than his head and neck. I no sooner got back in the car and put the camera on the seat, and he flaps his wings and flies off. Little bastard sat there watching me, waiting for me to put the camera down... :huh

    same happened to me in spain a couple of weeks back waited for a flock of flamingos to do something but they didn't , even went back at dawn still nothing. any way good shot
