Home Page Customization Question: Ascending vs. Descending

I'd like one of two options on this sucker.

1. Have the photos arrange in newest to oldest order.

or

2. Have them automatically mix up the images I have picked for the home page.

I'll take a shot. Have you visited "organize" site yet?
Try it, go to a gallery whose photos you want to sort, click the button to select all, and then click the sort button to choose which way.

Your second request, for mixing them up randomly - I don't think that's possible, but I'm not a wizard. I don't think even Legacy has that functionality, correct?

That would be awesome if I wanted to organize a specific gallery. However, the homepage doesn't work that way. I "tag" in the photos that I want displayed on the homepage. Thus far I haven't found a way to have the newest photos displayed at the top. And no way to randomize it.

I haven't tried setting up such a page. "Tag" means what exactly? You are adding photo blocks, or gallery blocks? I do believe they cannot be randomized.

If you added a multiple photos box and browsed out to choose each photo, the photos will show in the order you pick.
To reorder you'll have to delete all and re-pick in the order you want or if reordering only a portion delete
photos from that point and re-pick new photos.

Allen....that's what I thought but was hoping there was a work around. Might have to rethink the whole site organization.

There is a separate thread that has been tracking random home page items. Slide shows can now be random, but not the homepage... Yet.
