Great Blue Heron amid Fall Colors

This photo has things I don't ordinarily like, such as a detailed, rather than defocused, background. But, what I do like about it is also the background, since we have far fewer fall colors here in Louisiana than in other parts of the country, and this GBH found most of them. And, it was a very pretty morning!

All comments and suggestions very welcome and appreciated!

Best, Pam

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks very much, Ian! They really are majestic birds. I love watching them up close through a 500mm lens. Best, Pam
