Sunset Here Too!

We had a nice sunset a few days ago and I thought it would be nice to take a few pictures from the portch. I think it made for a mildly interesting black and white as well. Enjoy.

I love the way the sun can light clouds in the most astounding ways. How many hours of sunlight are you getting in a day at the moment?

i prefer the black and white version. it lets the foreground be as much the subject as the clouds. creates a more rounded picture. great pic.

I too prefer the B&W - the color version seems too dark - maybe a little PS play ? nice composition and the BW seems to do more justice.
did you take this at like 3 pm ??!! I was in Anchorage and around - seward, denali, wrangells etc this summer and thought i'll never see dark there and now...it's amazing !
