Field Hockey Intensity

High school regional tournament action the other night. This field, unlike most in our area, has pretty good lighting in the midfield area. Gets pretty contrasty down toward the goals, but this looks pretty good to me. ISO 6400 1/500th f/2.8.

    I love the flying ponytails... I get that in soccer all the time. A bit less in Volleyball.

    Thanks guys. John, I don't know from Canon, but I have to agree that my D3s handles ISO6400 quite nicely. I've gone to 12800 and have decided that 12800 is strictly for emergency use only. And, yes, I too love the flying hair. I think some of these kids have learned how to use it as a weapon.
