Generally, I'm happy with these, and I think the family is, too. But I wonder if anyone sees something I'm missing? How's the light/posing/composition/exposure? What would make someone think "wow!"?

Kate, this is a solid set. Good work.

Just a few nits from my view.

#1 the faces are just a bit underexposed. You could lighten them up a bit with some selective dodging.

#2 is a cute idea, but I think you needed to be a bit lower. The kids are too close to the parent's faces and you cut off the parent's feet. The parents also look a bit stiff and awkward.

#3 works better for me if the parents in the background are off to one side and not directly over the children's heads.

#4 is my favorite of the set. Natural poses and your lighting looks good. Nice job! Clone out the distracting metal clasp in the lower right.

#5 they all look a bit stiff. Try having them walk towards you and take your shots as they approach. This will look much more dynamic and interesting.

#7 is adorable. I'm sure the parents will love that one.

#8 might work better in landscape orientation with a tighter crop. Give it a try.

Mitchell, thank you for taking the time to look/comment. Very valid points, all.
