Listed galleries showing as unlisted in new version

Originally a number of galleries in my legacy site were unlisted. While converting to the new site, I have listed them in the legacy version. They remain Unlisted in the new version. The menu on the home page reads Unlisted as well as in the gallery settings under Inherited.

I have yet to find a solution to this problem.

Check the folder in which the galleries are contained. If the folder is set to unlisted the galleries inherit that characteristic. For the galleries to be public the folder also needs to be public.
