Recently, J. W. Kern put together a comparison of Yosemite's Ahwahnee Hotel and the hotel from The Shining, The Overlook.
I never really thought about the similarities before. Creepy. Especially since I consider the Ahwahnee one of the classic hotels of the national parks.
