How long for plugin to update Lr catalog?

Upgrading to the latest plugin v 2.7.0. Not sure what previous version I was running, but the plugin is now trying to update my Lightroom catalog. I have 20,000+ images in the catalog. The update has been running for about 25 minutes and the progress bar is showing no progress. I also see no disk activity. How long should this take on a catalog of this size?

    So, after a couple hours of nothing happening, I closed and restarted Lr. I went back into Plugin Manager and reloaded the Smugmug plugin. The catalog update seemed to work that time.
