B&W Arabian Dance

I'm still searching for a way to show just how sensuous is this particular scene from The Boston Ballet's Nutcracker. I don't often resort to B&W, but in this case, the light and colors, great as they are in person, seem to distract from the expression of the dancers. So perhaps this is a good use of B&W.

    the look on her face in this one is stunning. just wish his was the same, or at least looking in a similar direction.

    I agree with you though, the bw is nice in this one, it really makes her expression steal the show.

    This one might not be as good a composition as the three I posted originally, but it's just an amazing bit if dancing. It's one of the moments of this performance that sticks in my mind for days after I see it.
